ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
2019-2020Postdoctoral researcher at Cadiz University with the proyect “The role of global stress factors in the carbon metabolism and production of dissolved organic carbon in benthic shallow communities (PAVAROTTI)” CTM2017-85365-R. This project was part of the excellence projects and challenges projects of the Spanish State Research Agency in 2017. The proyect was financed by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
2018-2019Postdoctoral researcher at Cadiz University with a project about carbon dynamics and climatic change in seagrass meadows. The contract for young researchers was financed by the European Social Fund (ESF).

Scientific dissemination events for the general public:
Coordinator of a Local Volunteer Program for the monitoring of seagrasses in the Cadiz Bay (called FAMAR), which aims to know the state of conservation of the seagrass beds in the bay and to do a citizen science (2013-2017). RELEVANT SKILLS
Research
Experience in both field and mesocosm experiments about coastal ecology (especially in tropical and temperate seagrass ecosystems). Laboratory experience: Analysis of different variables in seawater (e.g. nutrients, total alkalinity, dissolved organic carbon, oxygen concentration, light intensity). Knowledge in analysis of coastal communities production using both Punching and Winkler methods.
